Coaching

GPSS (God, Person, Self, System) Leadership Coaching is a partnership between Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary and the Samaritan Training and Resource Center that provides Garrett-Evangelical alumni/ea with personal Leadership Coaching. The coaching will be provided by experienced clergy or counselors who have been trained to apply action driven, results oriented and solution focused support as you address the specific, present-moment challenges of your new appointment or employment.

GPSS Leadership Coaches guide individuals and groups to maximize their impact through exploring and expanding vision, unlocking potential and reaching desired goals with increased confidence, competency and commitment.

Intersection: CEUs Online

Intersection is an innovative continuing education program that allows you to earn Continuing Education Units online with engaging and thought-provoking content. Intersection incorporates lectures by and reflection with the distinguished faculty of Garrett-Evangelical. Over the course of the academic year, faculty members present lectures to the seminary community and public on topics ranging from theology, biblical interpretation and church history to the church in society. The lectures are videotaped and made available right from the seminary’s website.

Job Board


The Job Board is a collection of external job full-time and part-time job opportunities around Chicago and beyond, in various denomiations, for ordained and non-ordained persons. To submit a position opening, please send a job description to news@garrett.edu. Job postings will remain on our website for 60 days unless otherwise noted. Please note, Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary does not screen or recommend candidates for posted positions, makes no representations regarding the employers or positions listed herein, and takes no responsibility for persons hired into positions advertised on this job board.

Transcripts

You may now request transcripts online through the Parchment Exchange portal using a credit card. Go to the Parchment site and if it is your first time you can create a new account. On subsequent visits, you can use the account you created previously. Follow the steps to search for your recipient, select electronic or physical transcripts, and pay with a credit card. Your card will not be charged until your transcript is processed.

Alternatively, you may request a transcript by completing the Transcript Form and mailing or faxing it to the registrar. Your signature is required. Requests cannot be taken over the phone.There is a $7.50 processing fee charged for each copy. In an emergency, a transcript may be faxed for an additional $3.00, in addition to the $7.50 mailed copy.
